Yoshitaka Nagayama is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Hioki City in Kagoshima Prefecture. Born in 1983, he graduated from Kyushu University with a degree in law and policy. Before entering politics, he worked at the Development Bank of Japan and later engaged in NPO activities, including the establishment of the Ten-Lab research institute. He also held corporate roles and was involved in regional development initiatives. Nagayama was first elected mayor in 2021 and secured a second term in 2025 after running unopposed.
