友田吉泰

Yoshiyasu Tomoda is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Matsuura in Nagasaki Prefecture. Born in Ogi, Saga Prefecture, he graduated from the Kyushu Kyoritsu University with a degree in mechanical engineering. Tomoda began his political career as a member of the Matsuura City Council in 1999. He later served as a member of the Nagasaki Prefectural Assembly from 2011 to 2017. In 2018, he was elected as the Mayor of Matsuura and has since been re-elected, currently serving his third term in office.
