森之嗣

Yukitsugu Mori is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Awara City in Fukui Prefecture. Born in 1953 in Kanazu-cho (now part of Awara), he graduated from Doshisha University's Faculty of Commerce. Before entering politics, he managed a building materials company. Mori began his political career in 2009 when he was elected to the Awara City Council, where he served for three terms and held the position of Council Chair. He was first elected mayor in 2022 and successfully secured re-election in 2026.
