中野祐介

Yusuke Nakano is a Japanese politician and former bureaucrat currently serving as the Mayor of Hamamatsu. Born in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, he graduated from the University of Tokyo and began his career at the Ministry of Home Affairs (now the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications). Throughout his bureaucratic career, he held various significant positions, including Director of the General Affairs Department of Kyoto Prefecture, secretary to the Minister of State for Regional Revitalization, and Vice Governor of Hokkaido. In 2023, he was elected as the Mayor of Hamamatsu with the support of the Liberal Democratic Party, Komeito, and Rengo Shizuoka, succeeding the incumbent mayor.
