Yves Nicolin

Yves Nicolin is a French politician who has served as the Mayor of Roanne since 2014, having previously held the office from 2001 to 2008. A former member of the National Assembly of France, he represented the Loire's 5th constituency for five terms between 1993 and 2017. Throughout his career, Nicolin has been associated with several center-right parties, including the UDF, UMP, and The Republicans. Professionally trained as a business lawyer, he has focused his political work on economic development, regional infrastructure, and adoption advocacy, notably initiating the French Adoption Agency. He is also the president of the Roannais Agglomération.
