Zeydan Karalar is a Turkish politician and mechanical engineer who served as the Mayor of Adana Metropolitan Municipality. Born in 1958 in the Seyhan district, he graduated from Çukurova University before pursuing a career in engineering and management. He entered politics through the Republican People's Party (CHP), serving as the Mayor of Seyhan from 2014 to 2019 before being elected Mayor of Adana. In 2025, he was arrested following an investigation into allegations of financial misconduct during his tenure as Mayor of Seyhan.
