A. R. Krishnamurthy

A. R. Krishnamurthy is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly representing the Kollegal constituency. A member of the Indian National Congress, he previously achieved electoral success in 1994 and 1999 in Santhemarahalli. After a notable loss by a single vote in 2004, he made a political comeback in the 2023 assembly elections, winning his seat by a significant margin of over 59,000 votes. Beyond his legislative career, he has served as the chairman of the Ambedkar Development Co-operative and operates a petrol station.
