Abdurrahman Babacan is a Turkish politician and academic serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly for Malatya. Born in 1983 in Malatya, he completed his primary and secondary education in Istanbul before graduating from the Department of Economics at Marmara University in 2006. He later earned a master's degree in Political Science and International Relations from the same institution. Prior to his election in 2023, he worked as a research assistant at the Marmara University Middle East Research Institute for five years. He currently serves on the European Union Harmonization Committee and the National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Committee.
