Abelina López Rodríguez is a Mexican politician currently serving as the Municipal President of Acapulco, a position she has held since 2021 and was re-elected to for the 2024–2027 term. A lawyer by profession with a master's degree in criminal law, she has a long history of left-wing activism, including student leadership and advocacy for public education and land rights. Throughout her career, she has served as a local councilor in Acapulco, a two-time member of the Guerrero State Congress, and a federal deputy in the Congress of the Union from 2018 to 2021. She was a founding member of the Party of the Democratic Revolution before joining the National Regeneration Movement in 2017.
