Adnan Fangari is an Egyptian judge and politician currently serving as the Minister of Justice of Egypt. Born in 1953 in Qena Governorate, he earned a law degree from Cairo University in 1974. Throughout his distinguished judicial career, he served as the head of the Court of Appeal in Cairo, Alexandria, Beni Suef, and Asyut, and was a member of the Supreme Judicial Council. He also held the position of Director of Judicial Inspection for the Public Prosecution and served as an Assistant Public Prosecutor. Known for his expertise in legal training and international cooperation, he has participated in numerous global forums addressing terrorism, corruption, and human rights, while contributing to the training of legal professionals and law enforcement officers across the Arab world.
