Born in Pallisa District in 1970, she previously worked as a senior immigration officer for the Ugandan government and served as an immigration advisor for the United Nations in Liberia. She first entered the Ugandan Parliament in 2016 representing Pallisa District and was re-elected in 2026 to represent Butebo District.
