Amirthanathan Adaikalanathan

Selvam Adaikalanathan is a Sri Lankan Tamil politician and the leader of the Tamil Eelam Liberation Organization (TELO). Born in Mannar, he joined the militant group TELO at the age of 15 and later assumed its leadership in 1986. He has served as a long-standing Member of Parliament for the Vanni District, having been first elected in 2000 and subsequently re-elected in multiple general elections. Between 2015 and 2020, he served as the Deputy Chairman of Committees of the Parliament of Sri Lanka.
