P. Sathiyalingam

Pathmanathan Sathiyalingam is a Sri Lankan Tamil physician and politician who served as the Minister of Health and Indigenous Medicine for the Northern Provincial Council. Before entering politics, he worked as a Medical Officer of Health in Vavuniya and served as the chairman of the Vavuniya branch of the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society. Elected to the Northern Provincial Council in 2013, he held his ministerial position until his resignation in August 2017 following political tensions within the provincial administration.
