Anja Quast

Anja Quast is a German politician and a member of the Hamburgische Bürgerschaft, representing the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). Born in Hamburg in 1971, she studied political science and graduated with a Master of Arts in 1997. Before her election to the state parliament in 2020, she served for nearly two decades in the Wandsbek district assembly, including a long tenure as the chair of the SPD parliamentary group from 2011 to 2020. She continues to reside in Hamburg and is a mother of three.
