Arthur Waako Mboizi

Arthur Waako Mboizi is a Ugandan politician currently serving as the Member of Parliament for Budaka County in the Budaka District. Elected as an independent candidate in 2021, he is a member of the Committee on Gender, Labour and Social Development. Prior to his parliamentary service, he held various local government positions, including serving as a district councillor and as the Chairperson of the Budaka District Council. He was previously a long-term district chairperson for the National Resistance Movement before transitioning to independent politics, where he campaigned on platforms focused on agricultural improvement, educational reform, and balanced trade.
