Arthur Waako Mboizi

Arthur Waako Mboizi is a Ugandan politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament for Budaka County. Elected as an independent candidate in 2021, he represents his constituency in the 11th Parliament of Uganda and serves on the Committee on Gender, Labour and Social Development. Prior to his parliamentary career, Mboizi held various local government positions, including serving as a district councillor and as the chairperson of the Budaka District Council. He previously spent 15 years as the district chairperson for the National Resistance Movement. His legislative priorities include the improvement of the agricultural sector, the educational system, and the promotion of balanced trade.
