Aurelijus Veryga

Aurelijus Veryga is a Lithuanian politician who currently serves as a Member of the European Parliament. He previously held the position of Minister of Health in the Skvernelis Cabinet from 2016 to 2020. In addition to his legislative duties, he has contributed to public health initiatives, including serving on the Advisory Council on Innovation for Noncommunicable Diseases at the World Health Organization’s Regional Office for Europe. In 2025, he was elected as the chairman of the Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union.
