Austin Davis is an American politician serving as the 35th Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania since 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously represented the 35th district in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2018 to 2022. As the first African American to hold the office of lieutenant governor in Pennsylvania and the youngest person to serve in that role in the United States, Davis has focused his career on community advocacy and public service. He previously worked as an executive assistant to the Allegheny County executive and has served on the boards of numerous civic organizations in the Pittsburgh area.
