Babungi Josephine Bebona

Babungi Josephine Bebona is a Ugandan politician and midwife who has served as the Woman Member of Parliament for Bundibugyo District since 2016. Before entering national politics, she worked as an enrolled midwife and a nursing officer within the Bundibugyo District Local Government. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has been a member of the Committee on HIV/AIDS and Related Diseases and the Committee on Health. She is known for her community development initiatives, including projects for people with disabilities and disaster relief efforts in her district.
