Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi

Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi is an Omani diplomat and politician who has served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman since August 2020. A career diplomat, he joined the Foreign Ministry in 1988 and held various senior roles, including Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry. He played a key role in negotiating Oman's membership in the World Trade Organization and the US-Oman Free Trade Agreement. Known for promoting cultural diplomacy and regional stability, he has been a prominent mediator in international conflicts, including recent efforts regarding the nuclear program in Iran.
