Theyazin bin Haitham is the Crown Prince of Oman and the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs. The eldest son of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, he was appointed as the nation's first Crown Prince in 2021 following a royal decree establishing an order of succession. Prior to his current role, he served as the Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth and held diplomatic positions at the Omani Embassy in London. He holds a degree in political science from the University of Oxford and a master's degree in history from Oxford Brookes University, and he is a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
