Sultan bin Salem bin Said al-Habsi is an Omani politician currently serving as the Minister of Finance of Oman, a position he has held since August 2020. In addition to his ministerial duties, he serves as the chairman of the Oman Investment Authority. His extensive career in public service includes previous roles as the undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance and as the director general of tax survey and administration. Furthermore, he was appointed as the deputy chairman of the board of governors of the Central Bank of Oman in 2017. He holds an accounting degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo.
