Saeed bin Hamoud bin Saeed al Maawali

Saeed bin Hamoud bin Saeed al Maawali is an Omani politician currently serving as the Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology. Appointed to this position on August 18, 2020, he brings extensive experience from the energy and industrial sectors to his cabinet role. Prior to his ministerial appointment, he held various leadership positions, including serving as the chief executive officer of the Oman Drydock Company starting in 2018 and as the executive manager of the Oman Tank Terminal Company from 2014 to 2018. His professional background also includes work with major organizations such as Petroleum Development Oman, Occidental Petroleum Corporation, Sohar Aluminium, and the Oman Oil Company. He holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Imperial College London.
