Saud bin Hamoud bin Ahmed Al Habsi

Saud bin Hamoud bin Ahmed Al Habsi is an Omani politician currently serving as the Minister of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources. Appointed to this position on August 18, 2020, he brings extensive experience in environmental and resource management to his role. Prior to his ministerial appointment, he held several key positions, including Undersecretary for Fish Resources, Director of the Environmental and Bioresources Sector at the Research Council of Oman, and roles within the Oman Aquaculture Development Company. He holds a PhD from Newcastle University.
