Branko Grims

Branko Grims is a Slovenian politician and Member of the European Parliament. Born in Kranj, he earned degrees in science and geology from the University of Ljubljana before embarking on a career in local and national politics. As a co-founder of the Slovenian Democratic Party, he served extensively in the National Assembly of Slovenia from 1990 to 1992 and again from 2004 to 2024, as well as in the National Council. In 2024, he was elected to the European Parliament, where his political stances have centered on conservative values, border security, and strict controls on immigration.
