Brent Taylor

Brent Taylor is an American politician serving as a member of the Tennessee Senate for District 31 since 2023. A member of the Republican Party, he previously worked as a funeral director and holds a degree in mortuary science from Northwest Mississippi Community College. In the legislature, Taylor has gained prominence for his tough-on-crime stance, sponsoring various bills aimed at addressing juvenile theft and supporting constitutional amendments to restrict bail for major capital crimes. He is currently a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Tennessee's 9th congressional district.
