Elected in 2022, he made history as the youngest member of the Alabama legislature at the age of 27. Colvin graduated from Albertville High School, Snead State Community College, and the University of Alabama. Prior to his legislative career, he was a collegiate baseball pitcher and gained political experience as a legislative intern.
