Bruno Soares Reis is a Brazilian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Salvador, Bahia, a position he has held since 2021. A law graduate from the Catholic University of Salvador, he began his political career as an assessor in the municipal assembly before serving as a state deputy in Bahia from 2011 to 2016. He later served as vice-mayor under ACM Neto and held various municipal secretary roles. Reis was elected mayor in 2020 and successfully secured re-election in 2024.
