C. D. Davidsmeyer

Christopher "C.D." Davidsmeyer is an American politician serving as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives for the 100th district since 2012. Born in Jacksonville, Illinois, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Miami University. Before his legislative career, he worked as a congressional aide and served on the Jacksonville City Council from 2008 to 2012. In the state legislature, he has held various committee roles, including serving as the Republican spokesperson for the Public Utilities Committee and as co-chairman of the Commission on Government Forecasting and Accountability. Additionally, he serves as the chairman of the Morgan County Republican Party.
