Carl-Philipp Sassenrath

Carl-Philipp Sassenrath is a German politician and a member of the Bundestag, representing the Neuss I constituency since the 2025 federal elections. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), he previously served as an advisor to Jens Spahn within the Federal Ministry of Health and the CDU/CSU parliamentary group. Sassenrath holds a background in law and has completed professional assignments at the Federal Chancellery and the Federal Foreign Office. In his current parliamentary capacity, he serves on the Committee on Transport and the Committee on Legal Affairs and Consumer Protection, while also acting as deputy chair of the Parliamentary Friendship Group for Relations with the Maghreb States.
