His career includes serving as an administrative officer in the Office of the President during the Participatory Government, working as a parliamentary aide, and leading the First Constitution Research Institute. He was elected as the Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District in the 2026 local elections as a member of the Democratic Party of Korea.
