Chris Baryomunsi is a Ugandan physician, public health specialist, and politician currently serving as the Minister for ICT and National Guidance. First elected to the Parliament of Uganda in 2006 to represent Kinkizi County East, he has held various ministerial roles, including State Minister of Health for General Duties and State Minister for Housing. A graduate of Makerere University with a background in demography and HIV/AIDS management, he previously worked as a medical officer and reproductive health advisor for international organizations. He is recognized as an independent-minded member of the National Resistance Movement who advocates for pro-people policies.
