Chris Scott is a Canadian politician serving as the Member of Provincial Parliament for Sault Ste. Marie in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario since 2025. A graduate of Carleton University with a degree in political science, he previously worked in the office of MPP Ross Romano and as a special advisor to the chief of staff for Premier Doug Ford. Initially elected as a member of the Progressive Conservative Party, Scott was removed from the party caucus in September 2025 following his arrest on assault charges and currently sits as an Independent.
