Christine Teunissen

Christine Teunissen is a Dutch politician representing the Party for the Animals. She has served as a member of the House of Representatives since 2021, following a career that included serving in the Senate and on the municipal council of The Hague. A history graduate from Leiden University, she previously worked as a press secretary for her party. In parliament, Teunissen has focused on diverse policy areas including economic affairs, finance, and defense, notably leading a successful motion to block commercial aviation at Lelystad Airport.
