Cieltje Van Achter is a Belgian lawyer and politician representing the New Flemish Alliance (N-VA) party. Educated at KU Leuven, Université René Descartes, the University of Bologna, and Johns Hopkins University, she worked as a lawyer, lecturer, and policy officer before entering politics. Since 2014, she has served as a member of the Parliament of the Brussels-Capital Region, where she has also led the N-VA faction and focused on mobility, environment, and finance. In September 2024, she assumed office as the Flemish Minister of Brussels and Media in the Diependaele Government.
