Cody Huneycutt

Cody Huneycutt is an American politician currently serving as a Republican member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing the 67th district. First elected in 2024, he succeeded Wayne Sasser, for whom he previously worked as a staffer. A resident of Stanly County, Huneycutt holds an Associate of Arts degree from Stanly Community College and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His legislative priorities include addressing drug costs and restricting local government implementation of guaranteed income programs. Additionally, he has publicly committed to supporting term limits for members of the U.S. Congress.
