Cora-Yfke Sikkema

Cora-Yfke Sikkema is a Dutch politician and sociologist currently serving as the Mayor of Oldambt, a position she has held since 2019. Before her mayoral tenure, she was a municipal councilor and alderman in Haarlem, where she focused on sustainability, mobility, and urban maintenance. A member of the GreenLeft party, Sikkema has also served as an informateur for various local government coalitions and holds several board positions, including roles within the Eems Dollard Region and the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen. Her career is characterized by extensive experience in public administration, crisis management, and regional development.
