Dan Tomlinson

Dan Tomlinson is a British Labour Party politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Chipping Barnet since 2024 and as the Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury since September 2025. Educated at the University of Oxford, he previously worked as a senior economist for the Resolution Foundation and held roles at HM Treasury and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation. Before his election to Parliament, he served as a councillor in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets from 2018 to 2022. Tomlinson is recognized as an advocate for social housing policy within the government.
