Daniel Mukoko Samba is a Congolese economist, professor, and politician currently serving as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy in the government of Judith Tuluka Suminwa since June 2024. Born in Mbanza-Ngungu, he holds a doctorate in urban and regional development from the University of Tsukuba in Japan. Previously, he served as the Minister of Budget from 2012 to 2014 and worked as a cabinet director for Prime Minister Adolphe Muzito. He has also contributed to development initiatives through the United Nations Development Programme and authored academic works on African economic resilience.
