Debra M. Sariñana is an American educator and politician currently serving as a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives for the 21st district. Born and raised in Albuquerque, she earned a Bachelor of Science in education from New Mexico State University and a Master of Arts in mathematics education from the University of New Mexico. Before her political career, she served in the United States Air Force Reserves and worked as a math teacher at Manzano High School. She assumed office in January 2017 after winning the 2016 election.
