Denis Hamson Obua is a Ugandan politician currently serving as the Government Chief Whip in the Parliament of Uganda, a position he assumed in August 2022. He has represented Ajuri County in the Parliament of Uganda since 2011, having previously served as a Youth Member of Parliament for Northern Uganda starting in 2006. Between 2019 and 2022, he held the cabinet position of Minister of State for Sports. Before his political career, he worked as a contracts clerk and a legal assistant.
