Donnie Loftis

Donnie Loftis is an American politician serving as a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives for the 109th district since 2021. Prior to his legislative career, he served as the chair of the Gaston County Board of Commissioners and as the chair of the board of directors for CaroMont Health. Loftis has been a controversial figure due to his presence at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, and his vocal opposition to COVID-19 public health mandates, which he previously characterized as tyranny.
