Dorcus Acen

Dorcus Acen is a Ugandan politician currently serving as the Women's Representative for Alebtong District in the eleventh Parliament of Uganda. Affiliated with the National Resistance Movement, she previously served in the tenth Parliament as an independent politician. Her legislative work includes serving on the Committee on Gender, Labour and Social Development. Prior to her parliamentary career, she worked as a Gender and Protection Adviser at CARE International in South Sudan and as a focal person for sexual violence prevention at the GBV Prevention Network.
