Takashi Endo is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives, currently in his sixth term. Born in Takaishi, Osaka, he previously worked in restaurant management and held leadership roles in the Junior Chamber International before entering national politics. He was first elected to the Diet in 2012 and has since served in various leadership capacities, including as the Diet Affairs Committee Chairman for his party and as Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Security. In 2025, he was appointed as a Special Advisor to the Prime Minister, focusing on the promotion of coalition agreement policies. Endo is known for his involvement in the Akita Dog Preservation Society and his role in facilitating the coalition government between the Liberal Democratic Party and Nippon Ishin no Kai.
