Erik Boog

Erik Boog is a Dutch politician and administrator who has served as the Mayor of Diemen since May 2015. A member of the Democrats 66 (D66) party, he previously held various local government roles in Hilversum, including serving as a municipal councilor, faction leader, and alderman for portfolios such as traffic, education, and youth affairs. Before his mayoral appointment, he also worked as an interim director at the Regional Bureau for Compulsory Education. Boog is recognized for his focus on public order, safety, and community development projects within the municipality of Diemen.
