Fiona Twycross, Baroness Twycross is a British Labour Party politician and life peer currently serving as a Member of the House of Lords. She previously served as a London-wide Assembly Member from 2012 to 2021 and as the Deputy Mayor for Fire and Resilience under Sadiq Khan. A former academic with a PhD in Scandinavian literature, she has held various roles in charity governance and political campaigning. Since 2024, she has served as a Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and as a Baroness-in-Waiting.
