Frank Tumwebaze is a Ugandan politician and teacher who currently serves as the Minister of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries. A member of the National Resistance Movement, he has held several high-level cabinet positions since 2012, including Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development and Minister of Information Technology and Communications. He first entered elective politics in 2006 as the Member of Parliament for Kibale County. Tumwebaze holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Public Health from Makerere University, and has previously worked as a customs officer and presidential assistant.
