Fumiaki Okahara is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Uwajima City in Ehime Prefecture. Born in 1970 in Uwajima, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at Matsuyama University and previously worked in the fisheries industry. After an unsuccessful bid for the Ehime Prefectural Assembly in 2011, he was elected to the Uwajima City Council in 2013. He assumed the office of Mayor in 2017 and has since been re-elected, securing his third term in 2025. He serves as an independent politician.
