Gabriel Ramos

Gabriel Ramos is an American politician and businessman currently serving as a member of the New Mexico Senate. He previously held the same seat from 2019 to 2020 after being appointed to fill a vacancy. Before his legislative career, Ramos served as a Grant County Commissioner and worked as an insurance agent and entrepreneur. Throughout his political career, he has been noted for his moderate to conservative voting record, including opposition to certain gun control measures and minimum-wage increases. After losing his seat in the 2020 Democratic primary, he switched parties and successfully ran as a Republican to reclaim his position in 2024.
