George Anderson is a Canadian politician and lawyer who has served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia for the electoral district of Nanaimo-Lantzville since 2024. Prior to his provincial role, he served as a Nanaimo City councillor and a director for the Regional District of Nanaimo from 2011 to 2014. A commercial lawyer by profession, Anderson holds a Bachelor of Arts from Vancouver Island University and a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. He is recognized for his extensive community service, including his tenure as chair of the Vancouver Island University board of governors and his receipt of the BC Achievement Award in 2016.
