Hanifa Nabukeera

Hanifa Nabukeera is a Ugandan businesswoman and politician who served as a Member of Parliament representing Mukono District. Affiliated with the National Unity Platform (NUP), she was elected to the 11th Parliament of Uganda in 2021 after defeating incumbent Kusasira Peace Kanyesigye Mubiru. Prior to her successful 2021 campaign, she had previously contested the Mukono Woman Parliamentary seat in both 2011 and 2016. Following the 2026 general elections, she concluded her tenure in the legislature after losing her seat to Betty Nambooze.
